The Most Dangerous Place to be a Christian Right Now

Why Nigeria Is the Most Dangerous Country for Christians and How We Can Help

The world is ignoring the silent screams of believers in Nigeria. Yet the violence is deafening. In the first half of 2025 alone, more than 7,000 Christians were reported killed in Nigeria. From 2009 to the present, tens of thousands of believers have lost their lives simply for following Jesus.

WE WILL NOT BE SILENT.

These are not just numbers. Each one is a human being with hopes, a family, and a story. A father who once led worship; a wife who once cooked meals for her church. A child who once sang “Jesus loves me”—and now hides with no hymnbook in hand.

“So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:12)

When we ignore the suffering of our brothers and sisters, we are complicit in their pain. When we choose action instead, we declare: your life matters; your faith matters; you are not forgotten.

Reflection:
• Will I shrink back because it is too far away?
• Will I feel helpless and do nothing?
• Or will I commit my $5/month to say: “You are seen. You are loved. I stand with you”?

Action:
Today, we choose to hear the silent screams and respond with a shout of hope. Click the link and become a sponsor. One persecuted Christian, $5/month. Or you can go deeper: $1/day to support an entire Christian household.
