🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: My New 70-Day Devotional Journal Is Here! 🚨

Hey Bible Collective family,

I am beyond excited to share something that has been on my heart for a long time—my brand-new 70-day devotional journal, He Is / I Am: A 70-Day Journal to Discover Your Identity in Christ, is officially here! đźŽ‰

This journal is more than just a daily devotional—it’s a transformational journey that will renew your mind, strengthen your faith, and anchor you in the unshakable truth of who you are in Christ.

Each day is designed to help you meditate on Scripture, declare God’s truth over your life, and step into your God-given identity with confidence. Here’s what you can expect inside:

âś… Daily Scripture Focus – A handpicked Bible verse revealing who God is and who you are in Him.
âś… Identity Affirmation – A powerful, faith-building statement to help you rewrite the way you think about yourself.
âś… Inspiring Quote – Wisdom from well-loved Christian leaders, preachers, and theologians to deepen your reflections.
âś… Gratitude & Prayer Prompts – Thought-provoking questions to help you engage with God’s truth on a personal level.
âś… Daily Action Step – A practical challenge to help you live out your faith in a tangible way.

Why I Wrote This Journal

So many of us struggle with identity, insecurity, and self-doubt—but the truth is, your identity is not defined by your past, your mistakes, or the opinions of others. Your identity is rooted in Christ. When you understand who God is, you’ll begin to understand who you are in Him.

This 70-day journey is about more than just reading—it’s about renewing your mind, breaking free from insecurity, and stepping into the abundant life God has called you to live.

I want to invite you to take this journey with me.

Today’s SOAP Devotional

S - SCRIPTURE:  Hebrews 9:11-12

"But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption."

O - OBSERVATION:

The old covenant required priests to offer sacrifices repeatedly, year after year, entering the Most Holy Place with the blood of animals to temporarily atone for sins. But Jesus, our eternal High Priest, entered the true heavenly tabernacle—not one built by human hands. He didn’t offer the blood of bulls or goats; He offered His own blood, once and for all. This means the work of redemption is complete. No more sacrifices are needed because His atonement is perfect and eternal.

A - APPLICATION:

Many of us still live as if we need to earn our way back to God, carrying guilt and striving for acceptance. But Hebrews 9 reminds us that Jesus' sacrifice was final. He has already made the way for us to be in God’s presence, fully cleansed and forgiven. Instead of striving, we are called to rest in His finished work. Do I live in the confidence of His eternal redemption? Or do I still act as if I need to "prove" myself to God? Today, I choose to walk in freedom, knowing that Jesus’ blood has secured my place before the Father.

P - PRAYER:

Jesus, thank You for being my perfect High Priest and offering Yourself as the final sacrifice for my sins. I confess that I sometimes forget that Your work is finished and fall into striving. Help me to rest in Your grace and walk in the confidence of my eternal redemption. Let my life reflect gratitude and surrender to You. Amen.

What is a SOAP?

For each day of Bible reading, we do a SOAP devotional to go deeper into the word of God. We always provide an example SOAP from one of our authors, but we highly encourage you to do your own SOAP with today’s reading. God wants to speak to you personally, and will highlight a passage of today’s reading that’s just for you.

Here’s how it works:

S – SCRIPTURE
Physically write out the Bible verse
You’ll be amazed at what God will reveal to you when you
slow down to write or meditate on what you are reading!

O – OBSERVATION
What do you see in the verses you’re reading?
Who is the audience? Is there a repetition of words? What words stand out to you? What is the main lesson or theme?

A – APPLICATION
When God’s Word becomes personal
What is God saying to me today? How can I apply what I just read to my life? Are there any changes I need to make?

P – PRAYER
Pray God’s Word back to Him
If He has revealed something to you during this time in His
Word, pray about it. Confess if He has revealed some sin that is in your life. Take time to thank Him for His goodness in your life.

✨ Share your SOAP reflections! Post your takeaway from Hebrews 9 on Instagram and tag me @jacobcoyne or reply directly to this email. Let’s grow together as we dive deeper into God’s Word!
